Steps for applying waterslide decals to Gunpla:
- Cut out the desired design from the decal sheet and trim closely to the required size
- Place the cut decal into water for approximately 30 seconds to allow it to loosen from the backing paper
- Using tweezers and a cotton swab gently slide the decal from the backing paper onto the desired location on your model
- Adjust the decal to your preferred position then use a dry cotton swab to absorb excess water smooth the edges and remove air bubbles
- Allow the decal to dry completely before handling or applying any topcoat
Important Note: Do not attempt to detach the decal directly in the water, as its adhesive is extremely strong. In case the back of the decal sticks together, place the decal in water and use a toothpick to carefully detach it.
